Obituary

My mom took her last breath Tuesday morning while getting ready to go to the Camarillo Adult Day Care that we called school, because she learned things, had a nice lunch, and recess of course. A bus picked her up and took her Monday - Tuesday - Thursday & Friday. She never wanted to miss a day. The bus arrived about 15 minutes after we discovered her. She had attended the school for more than 10 years, since January of 2006, and had 9 birthday parties there. Her 90th was the big one with "Elvis"...

Her 90th was the big one with "Elvis" came, everyone had a wonderful time. We want to thank CHCD with all our hearts for loving my Mom and sharing your lives with her. That's why she never wanted to miss one day.

Mom had just had her hair done on Thursday, Sunday she went for a ride with her son-in-law of 50 years Dennis Derley, (they adored each other), and of course topped it off with a McDonald's ice cream. Monday Mom and I had a really nice day alone, (I'm so grateful).

My Dad (Havis H. Reed) has been waiting for Mom since 1984. My sister Melinda Sue Reed (Kane) just passed away March 11, 2016. Mom just had 2 kids, Melinda and Me, Wanda Derley, 2 grandchildren, Machelle Climenti and Todd Derley, (also Todd's wife Cathy), and her 3 grandchildren, Kyle Climenti (22), Reed Derley (19), and Vaughn Climenti (16). She was the best "Mamaw" (Grandmother) in the whole wide world, REALLY. My husband and I with no hesitation, will tell you we would not trade her with anybody's.

Mom had a zeal for life, enjoying every minute, not wanting to miss a thing. With a childlike curiosity (I called it nosey) and Mom could laugh at that, she could take a joke and had a wonderful sense of humor. Thank you for hanging around for 92 years, entertaining us, leaving us with so many great memories, and the fun things that will make us smile - even laugh out loud. We know how to love, because you showed us.
